Graduated from Maranatha Baptist Graduate School of Theology, Watertown, Wisconsin, EE.UU.; with a M. Div. in 1986.

Graduated from Emmanuel Baptist Theological Seminary, of Newington, CT, EE.UU.; with the D.Min. degree in 2007.

Ordained for the ministry in 1987 at the First Baptist Church of Santa Maria, California, EE.UU.

He has pastored churches both part-time and full-time in Illinois, California, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina in the USA.; as well as in Mexico in Hermosillo, Sonora and in Monterrey, N.L.

He is happily married to Betty, and both have three children: Barac Santiago, Elba Cesia and Abner Isaí.

He has taught in several Bible institutes. Co-founder of the Instituto Bautista Bíblico Puerta Abierta of Tijuana, B.C., Mexico. Theology Professor at the Universidad Cristiana de las Américas in Monterrey, N.L. Mexico. In 2003 he founded the first Fundamental Bible Baptist Institute in Santa Clara, Cuba.

Since 1991 he has published the Spanish apologetical magazine APOLOGIA. Started originally in Hermosillo, Sonora; Mexico, then to Tijuana, B.C.; then to Salinas, CA, and currently in North Carolina.
